READING DISTANCE:

The amount of nearsightedness you have determines how close or far you need to hold an item to see it clearly without your glasses on. If you are mildly nearsighted for example, at normal reading distance of 35 – 40 cms (use of a 30cms ruler to measure is a good tool) you will see very well. If not use the glasses strength of 1-2-3 to see what suits your eyes for reading (the glasses must suit the eye not necessarily the lens strength).
